The Paul Damari Fan Club
Paul has completed all of his four charity walks, known as the Four Seasons Walks. The final walk was on Saturday 24th February 2007, in aid of the Air Ambulance.
October 27th 2004 was a special day for Paul and his lovely wife Sandra when they celebrated 30 years of marriage.
Paul has installed exercise equipment
into his bunker, as you can see from the photo below it seems to have been a
worthwhile investment.
The Paul Damari Fan Club has been set up by John Dallimore for the many admirers of the radio weatherman. The popular broadcaster, who was recently described as having the 'soul of a poet' because of his 'uniquely descriptive' weather forecasts, can now be heard daily on BBC local radio station Hereford and Worcester.
Paul broadcasts from his weather studio in the back garden of his Worcester home. Known locally as the 'bunker', this prefabricated building was recently re-furbished by the Evesham Dallimore's.
Paul has now completed his four charity walks. Each time he walked the length of the Malvern Hills in aid of local charities, including MS. Sandra, Paul's wife, was recently diagnosed with MS, and although she finds it difficult to get about without a little help, she remains as 'vocal' and cheerful as ever. Paul's other walks were in aid of the Noah's Ark Trust, Acorn's Children's Hospice and the Air Ambulance. Paul is still deciding on his charity events for 2007.
One of Paul's hobbies is photography, and he has built-up a large catalogue of high-quality weather associated photographs.
In 1995 Paul published the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Weather Book.
Paul's wife, Sandra, is currently working on a book about Paul's eventful John O'Groats to Lands End Charity Walk. She is hoping to have it published next year.
